Differences can happen because some providers count protocol overhead, TLS handshakes, failed requests, retransmissions, or rounded usage chunks. The checker gives you a fixed payload result so you can compare measured bytes with your provider’s dashboard.

Yes. The proxy checker works with residential proxies, mobile proxies, ISP proxies, and datacenter proxies, as long as they provide HTTP or SOCKS5 access. For rotating residential proxies, each test may use a different exit IP, which is normal.
