Anti-Bot Checker
Check what anti-bot, WAF, CAPTCHA, and other protection systems a website uses See the difficulty verdict and the exact cookie, header, or script behind each detection
Site to check
Understand what the scan found
The Anti-Bot Checker gives you more than a list of protection systems. See how difficult the site appears to access, what was detected, and the evidence behind each finding
01
See the overall result: No barrier observed, Easy, Moderate, Hard, or Very hard. The verdict can be inferred from the systems found or measured through an IP comparison
02
See what each detected system means for access, including whether plain HTTP works, JavaScript is required, and IP reputation matters
03
Open the finding to see the exact cookie, header, or script that led to the detection
04
See which known protection systems were checked but not observed, so an empty result isn't mistaken for proof that the site is unprotected
Avoid low-quality IPs that get flagged. Try NodeMaven proxies for $3.50 and get 750 MB
See the evidence behind every detection
The checker doesn't just give you a vendor name
Open Evidence to see the signal that led to the finding
Check 21 known protection systems
The Anti-Bot Checker covers several types of website protection
* We document these four but have not yet confirmed them against a response we recorded ourselves, so a scan will not report them.

Why use an Anti-Bot Checker?
Choose the right proxy for your target
Compare how your target responds to different IP types, then choose the proxy solution that fits your workflow
Start scraping with NodeMaven proxies for just $3.50 and get 750MB of proxy traffic
Frequently asked questions
An anti-bot checker identifies technologies that websites use to detect or manage automated traffic, including bot-management systems, WAFs, CAPTCHAs, and other protection signals.
It starts with one ordinary GET request. If no known protection is identified, it automatically re-checks the page in a real browser to detect systems that only become visible after JavaScript runs.
Some protection systems don't leave an identifiable signal in a basic HTTP response. That's why the tool can perform an automatic browser re-check.
A clean result means no known system was identified in this scan. It does not prove that the website has no protection.
A CDN handles content delivery and traffic routing. A WAF filters traffic according to security rules. Bot-management systems evaluate traffic for signs of automation.
A CDN such as Cloudflare does not automatically mean that a website is using bot protection.
It can detect Cloudflare and Cloudflare Turnstile when the relevant signals are observed.
The presence of Cloudflare as a CDN alone is not treated as proof of bot protection.
Yes. DataDome is one of the bot-management systems in the current detection set.
Yes. The checker includes HUMAN Security (PerimeterX) among its bot-management detections.
Websites can use IP reputation as one of the signals when evaluating traffic. Compare IPs lets you measure whether the same URL produces different responses from datacenter and residential IPs.
No. It identifies and measures observed protection. It does not attempt to bypass or defeat it.
